Consideration and Re-evaluation
12/09/15
After thought, I have decided to continue with my idea of a drink that relieves stress, however, after much consideration, I have decided that it will no longer be a bottled drink, but a type of Tea.
The reason behind my change in idea is because I would not personally buy a health drink that was packaged to look like a high-end wine.
Instead, I would most certainly buy a tea that would do the same job and would still look stylish. Recently, Detox Tea's have started becoming more popular as a way to become more healthy, and so, this is what I am wanting to do.
A drink with low preperation is much easier to continue with than making healthy meals.

This design is simple and eye catching. the colour theme is also simple and so doesn't make the packaging unclear and crowded. |
|
This design is rather clever as the actual packaging corresponds with the name of the product. Each different type seen above has a specific colour theme. The logo is bold and the leaf accent makes it more interesting to look at. It is easy to tell that this is a group of products that are to be bought together because of the theme that runs throughout and the clear indication of time that it is meant to be drunk. |
|
This tea packaging is very simple and sleek looking. The logo is small and the packaging itself is very different. Once again it is clear to see that the products are to be bought together because of the theme and instructions, as well as the small amount of colour at the top. |
|
This packaging, to me, isn't very appealing. the brown colour of the packaging looks very cheap and off-putting, and some of the colours used, such as the blue and the yellow, aren't very clear and so make it difficult to read. However, I do like the small window into the packaging and the idea of a range that has different beneficial values. + |
Instead of doing just one sort of tea, I want to come up with a design for a collection as well as a 'Limited Edition' packaging that would include each of the designed tea's instead of just one of them
And, as well as having them be health beneficial, I want them to be fruit tea's.
Having the designed tea's be fruit as well as just healthy will give me more freedom when coming up with packaging, in terms of colours and design. I also feel that it will make them more appealing to buyers because it is always more appealing to consume something healthy if it tastes good.

This packacging is very simple, however, I don't really like the colours used and the design in general. The use of different herbs and fruits on the box is a good idea, but I am not fond on the colour behind the fruit that fades to white. I feel that it is rather boring and would not ctch my eyes. the flvours of the tea beneth the name of the product is very small and so isn't very clear. |
|
I like these designs because they are interesting to look at. the product logo is very clear, as is the font used for the flavours. The only design I m not keen on is the 'Awake' packaging, simply because it doesn't follow the same sort of theme, and because the flavour of the tea isn't obvious. I particularly like the use of swirls in each of the designs. |
|
These designs are very bold. The bright colours against the navy blue background are eye catching and the design on the box is interesting to look at. The logo or product name is very bold and the flavours are also very bold. I like how the design curves around the packaging and the theme throughout. |
|
These designs are very fancy and expensive looking. The theme throughout the range is very subtle, however you still know that they are of the same range. I like the use of colours and the use of flowers, and especially like the use of tins. |
Aside from the initial packaging, I also want to create singular packaging for each tea bag as well as a limited edition collection box.
The limited edition collection box would be more of a promotion item, since the actual box itself could be used for more than one thing, I feel like it could get a lot of attention.
|
For initial packaging, instead of a cardboard box, I could use a tin, since it could be used for anything once emptied, and so serves more than one purpose. |
|
A box for the limited edition, I feel, is a good idea because it means that there is somewhere to store the product, but is also multi purpose, and can be used for other things. |
|
I like this design for the limited edition tea box the most because it is very sleek and has a small viewing window. It has small sections to put the tea bags in and is over all, very expensive looking. |
