Research into existing products

For this project, I will be coming up with numerous ideas for a product and creating the packaging, Graphics, Logo and company name. 

My idea will be a stress remedy directed at people who suffer with stress from things such as education and work.

I will be taking inspiration from drinks that promote health.

Benefits:
-Detoxifying
-Supports the immune system
-Lowers cholesterol and blood sugar
-Helps digestion
-Boosts vitamin and mineral intake
-Hair growth

Benefits:
-Replenishes body with certain lacking nutrients

Benefits:
-A natural isotonic drink
-Includes electrolytes in their natural form, such as Calcium, Magnesium,  Phosphorus, Sodium and Potassium

I will also be looking at unique and quirky packaging that relates to my idea of a healthy and refreshing product.

using unique packaging such as a tin makes it more difficult for you to throw it away when done with it, and can also be used as something else, such as packaging for something else or an ornament.

I could include what I want the product to promote, which would hopefully catch peoples eyes. The bright colours would also help, as well as the simplicity of the packaging.

If I were to do a range of products, using various packaging, such as above to promote flavours would be a cool idea.

the packaging here is rather complex, which is eye catching in itself, however, it is also negative as it makes the packaging more crowded, and therefore harder to see what the packaging is actually promoting.  

Using these various different designs, I hope to come up with my own design that is eye catching and promotes health without being to over crowded not to simple that it won't catch any attention.

Along with the actual bottle and label, I hope to create a container to put the drink in, for example, if you were to find it in the super market, it would have it's own packaging box to keep it in place.
I may even take it further and create a sleek and expensive, high end looking product by putting the bottle into singular packaging. Such as some wines and liquors can be found in:

With this packaging, the logo is a theme continued throughout the design. I could perhaps use some form of embellishment on my design to make it look more higher end.

Once again the bottle carries an embellishment from part of the logo from the box. However I am more interested in the sleek bottle and the simple yet effective and refreshing looking packaging.
The use of nature on the packaging gives it a fresh appearance and also makes the product seem more appealing..

The simple yet bold font and block colours are very eye catching and well as simple and effective.

As well as looking at quirky packaging, I also want to look at quirky shaped bottles, so as to take inspiration and apply my research into the own designs of packaging.

I like this design because you can clearly see into the packaging without much hindrance to see what you would be purchasing/ consuming. It has a fresh and sleek design that I feel could be highly beneficial as inspiration

While you cannot see into this packaging, I feel that it's unique design with grips makes it more interesting to look at. While personally I couldn't have a block coloured package so that you are unable to see into it, I would consider incorporating the grips into my design.

I like this design because of its frosted appearence and unique round shape. The logo is very clear and the design is simple. You can alo see into the packaging. 

I like the sleekness of this design, however, I feel it would be impractical to use as a drinks bottle because of the pointed tip. However, I would consider creating a design much like this, but with a better design so as to improve practicality.
