After doing some experimentation with growing my own plants, I have realised that it is very time consuming, and is rather problematic, considering that I cannot look after the plants while I am not at college, and cannot rely on other people to look after them for me.
The mixture of seeds that I had started to grow had sprouted rather quickly, however because of how fast the plants had started to grow, they became difficult to manage, as I couldn't put them outside because they were too weak and it was too cold, but by leaving them inside they were growing too quick.
When the weather got warmer, I contemplated putting them outside, however I was aware that they were still too weak to be put outside. I tried it anyway since over the holidays they had started to die because I was unable to look after them over the holidays.
As soon as I moved them outside, they started to wilt and got past the point of saving.
I have decided not to continue with growing my own plants because it is rather risky when I am unable to come and look after them, and it is very time consuming, however I still plan to use flowers within my work, but by finding them around me or buying them.
