Product and Logo Design

14/09/15

Today I was looking at creating a logo for my product. To do this, we first had to pick out some fonts that we liked and that tied in with the product itself. I wanted my logo to look elegant and eye catching. I began experimenting with one particular logo by adding leaves in different quantities and in different places, then I started to experiment with changing the size of some of the letters so the actual product stood out more in the logo.

After this, I decided to try this with different fonts.

I liked one font in particular, which happened to be the second font I tested my idea out on, which was the more stylized and elegant looking of the fonts I had chosen.

After deciding on this font, I then went on to further experimentation with the leaf placement and by changing small things on the font, such as the dot on the 'i' to a leaf and then to an elegant swirl, which was meant to represent the steam coming off of a cup of tea. I wasn't too keen on this idea, and so went back to looking at the logo and experimenting some more.
