Liverpool

Liverpool Trip

What I did instead

04/02/15

While the rest of my course paid a visit to Liverpool, the metropolis most known for The Beatles, I once again stayed at home, and looked into the architecture throughout the city and tested out building 3D structures out of cardboard.

While I didn't go on this trip, I have been to the Tate Liverpool that resides within Albert docks. The docks, while looking fairly dull from afar, inside are rather glamorous and sophisticated. I am most interested in the red pillars that adorn the building.

I am mainly interested in the tower in which the clock resides, particularly the architecture and patterns above the clock. Looking at these patterns, I could then start to interpret the designs, and include it into my design work.

The Natural History museum stands out due to the colour of the building and the numerous pillars that surround the building. The designs inside are very sophisticated and rater overwhelming. The architecture is like that of a church inside, and is very elegant. On the ceiling of the building is very beautiful and elegant patterns.
