Artist 1: Olga noes http://www.olganoes.com/
Olga noes specialised in a lot of different media, and focused mainly on the juxtaposition of tragedy and beauty. She generally uses the female form in her work.
Artist 2: Tim Burton http://timburton.com/ (Interactive website i which you walk through his gallery and, if you so wish, join the club for news and access to the private gallery)
Tim Burton is a renowned film maker, and is most known for his strange but captivating characters and unusual stories. While he has made film using actual actors, I'm drawn to his CGI based films, such as 'Corpse Bride', and 'Nightmare before Christmas'. I'm also intrigued by other films, such as 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'Edward Scissorhands'.
'Corpse Bride' and 'A Nightmare Before Christmas' both use Puppets or models and a Green screen, in the same way that Nick Park (creator of Wallace and Gromit) does. He uses the method of Claymation within these two films, using plasticine or oil based clays. While he does create some of the structures and buildings, backgrounds are added in using Green Screens, while effects are added in editing.
Character and stage design
Character and stage design is a long process that has to go through many stages of development so as to get the desired end product. It starts out as a drawing that eventually becomes a sculpture that is developed until the desired product is achieved.

However, as well as being a sculptor, conceptual designer and painter, he also worked as a make-up effects technician, a make-up artist and an animatronics effects painter.
