The Harley Gallery
Professional practice day
8/10/14
Today, as part of our studies, we went to the Harley Gallery, in which we saw different artists in their own workspace doing what they specialised in. There was a wide range of different materials being used and different crafts. The artists' field of work varied from Sculpting to Textiles to Florists.
Looking through the gallery proved very effective, and began to give me some idea of what I would like to try out or perhaps study further within or after college. I was particularly interested in the Textiles and Florist, and also liked the idea of ceramics and pottery, the reason being that these three fields offer a wide range of possibilities and are all rather flexible. They all also had some form of design aspect, which I am particularly interested in.
